Relations with China is ‘the biggest business and trade question facing a country like the UK,’ says Jonathan Reynolds, UK Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade. ‘I want to see cooperation with China,’ notes Reynolds, with a caveat to make sure ‘international competition in the trading system is a fair one.’ Reynolds’ comments come after more than 120 business leaders signed a letter backing the Labour Party at the upcoming general election. Reynolds says that UK businesses want stability to be ‘at the heart’ of Labour’s pitch.
